In the Gospel today, Mt 11:20-24, Jesus challenges us to see God’s will in every event and in every moment in our life. Sometimes God’s will may not be very obvious but it does not mean that God is not there. He’s always there. He is always offering opportunity for us to renew our commitment, to strengthen our relationship with him, as well as our relationship with other people. Jesus reproaches the towns that don’t repent even after the Good News has been proclaimed.
So also with us, we have heard the Gospel, now are we to remain stubborn? Or should we follow Jesus. God is offering us the way to him, but ultimately, it’s our choice whether to respond to his invite or to go on our way.
We just remember always that God is always here with us, wherever we are…
As the saying goes, “COINCIDENCE is a human event, in which God chooses to remain anonymous”, so He is just there…with us, and for us…LOOK at Him, we MUST.
